okay all yall new zealand, australian people! i have a question...what are the years! i always ask but i never understand. we have grades here in the states, as in im in grade 7, 7th grade, so what do years mean? like how many years yall were in school? it just doesnt make sence! please explain because im always in school and i end up think about it and then i get this retarded face because i cant figure it out!

Ok ill explain it to u, u start skool when ur 5 yrs old and ur in year 1, So primary (elementary) skool goes from year 1 to year 6 which is until ur 11 years old, then you have intermediate (middle) skool which goes from year 7 to year 8 which is until ur 13 years old, then u have high skool which goes from year 9 to year 13 which is until ur 18 years old. I put the words in brackets cos i think thats wat u call them in the states. This year im in year 10 ;)
